Cal. 50. NSN. Standard configuration, one of about 11,000 made 1870-1873, 32.5" barrel with adjustable rear sight, breech marked "MODEL / 1870 / eaglehead & crossed arrows / US". Surplus Civil War 1863 dated Springfield lock, inspection marks in stock rear of trigger guard. CONDITION: very good to fine overall, complete and original, cleaned metal, good markings, stock is sound with good inspection marks, mechanics fine, good rifled bore.
